House Buying In Languedoc The Right Way

Just had our first clients of 2006 over for a week's property search.

A very nice couple from Dublin who weren't exactly sure what they were looking for. Being able to fly direct from Dublin to Carcassonne, the city of Carcassonne was a hot favourite with them. But they were also interested in looking at village houses along the coast towards Pezenas.

After a good week's viewings and around twenty properties, they finally decided on a very nice village house in a pretty village just outside Pezenas.

I persuaded them to offer less than they wanted to and after a bit of back and forth we agreed a price almost ten thousand euros below the asking price.

The clients are over the moon and we have an appointment to sign the Compromis de Vente this afternoon.
