The pretty village of Aumes has a population of just 397, spans a total of 739 hectares and has 329 vineyards.

The village lies approx 1.5 kms off the new A75 motorway, between Pezenas and Montagnac.

Aumes is a village steeped in history, with it’s wonderful church dating back to 1887.

Although it is a small village, Aumes still has a reasonable infrastructure, including a post office, a school, and a Doctors.

Aumes also has a tennis court for it’s residents and a small municipal park with swings and climbing frame for children. There are even permanent table tennis tables and a band stand for mothers and father alike to gather in the shade while their children play in front of them.

Property in Aumes varies between old village terraced houses, some with small front gardens, newly built villas on the edge of the village and slightly older villas set on large plots of land with mature trees. It’s these older villas that offer real interest.

Aumes is only a short hop to the bustling market town of Pezenas and is less than an hours drive to Montpellier international airport. The nearest beach is about 20 mins away at Meze.
