Property in Margon - A Guide to MargonThe pretty village of Margon is only a short hop from the bustling village of Roujan, and only around ten minutes from Pezenas. We are currently marketing a newly built property in Margon for a very realistic 250,000 euros. This Margon property is a two storey villa of approx 100 sqm on a plot of approx 550 sqm. As you can see from the photo above the backdrop to this villa is very pretty. The land behind rises up sharply to a wonderful collection of mature pine trees providing a real feel of the Med. This property in Margon is laid out over two floors, has a larger than average garage and a plot big enough for a swimming pool. The village of Margon itself is very pretty and has the most beautiful chateau. There is of course the local bar, as well as a restaurant and a few local shops. From Margon the nearest beach is around 30 minutes away, while any one of five international airports can be reached within about 90 mins. Beziers airport, with it's direct route from Bristol with Ryanair is only about 30 mins away. If you fancy a more traditional property, then Margon property has something for everyone. In the heart of the village are the old terraced village houses. These will give you the character but more often than not with village houses do not come with any outside space. a roof terrace is possible but these are hard to find and are at a premium. It's exactly this reason which leads a lot of people to the more modern villa type properties. You lose the old character but gain the possibility of a swimming pool. If you have your own pool then you really get to enjoy the fabulous Mediteranean weather which most people yearn for. There is of course another bonus to having a pool as well.
