Marseillan Plage Property

Property in Marseillan Plage - A Guide to Marseillan Plage

Less than ten minutes drive along the coast from Cap D’Agde is Marseillan Plage, with its unmistakable “southern France holiday by the sea” feel to it. With a mixture of modern built houses, apartment buildings and campsites, Marseillan Plage can be a busy place during the summer months.

If you just want somewhere to have a quick shower after a long day on the beach before you head out for the evening, then a 20sqm studio apartment can be found for as little as 50,000€. One bedroom with a small balcony will set you back around 75,000€, while 120,000€ will get you 1 bedroom with a view of the sea. If you want something a bit more up market, perhaps in a development with a pool, then expect to pay more in the region of 150,000€ for 1 bedroom. A 2 bedroom house will be around 200,000€ - 250,000€. For something bigger and more expensive than this then you need to go back along the coast to Cap D’Agde.

Marseillan Plage is all about spending your days on the beach, and spending your nights in bars and restaurants relaxing after your hard day lying on the beach. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, as well as funfairs, nightclubs and all the other summer holiday attractions you’d expect.

Nearest airport to Marseilan Plage is Montpellier. From here you can fly to and from the UK with British Airways and Ryanair. A taxi from Montpellier airport to Marseillan Plage will cost from around 90€ and will take about 45 mins.

From the beach at Marseillan Plage you can walk along the beach to Cap D’Agde. This is only about 1.5km but beware. It will take you right into the naturist part of Cap D’Agde. So if that’s not your thing, take a taxi to Cap D’Agde’s main port instead.
