Property in Nebian - A Guide to NebianWe are currently marketing a lovely house in Nebian with 2 bedrooms, large cave and pretty roof terrace for a very realistic 160,000 euros. The village of Nebian is located between Pezenas and Clermont L'Herault. Only a few minutes drive into Clermont L'Herault and around 15 mins from Pezenas you've got the benefit of two great market towns just beside you. Nebian is also only a stone's throw from the lovely Lac de Salagou. a very picturesque setting with plenty of walking, sunbathing and fishing oportunities as well as a stoney beach. Nebian itself is only a small village but has a lovely feel to it. It's an old village with some properties built into the medieval ramparts of the original village. Population of Nebian is around 1000 and the village covers around 10 square kms. There are around 600 residences in Nebian, with approx three quarter of these used as main residences. The vast majority of properties in Nebian are houses, with less than 5% of the properties being apartments. Three, four and five bedroom houses make up the majority of dwellings, with two bedroom houses making up around a quarter of residences. Nebian has a nice bar on the pretty "Place" which serves food. You can sit outside on a warm summer evening and listen to the water cascading from the village founatin while sampling some of the fine local wine that is on offer in abundance. Lovely! Nebian is quite well situated for road access to the rest of the Languedoc. You're only a few minutes away from the A75 motorway which will either lead you straight up to Paris or south to beziers. Branch off and you can be in Montpellier in just over 30 minutes. Nearest beaches to Nebian are about 30 - 40 minutes away at Agde. France's second oldest town.
