Serignan is a town with a modern feel and modern ideas. It has worked hard over the years to give itself a truly “Contemporary” feel. Serignan’s port was granted planning permission in 1975 and today has approx 300 berths.

Popular bars and restaurants such as “Fop’s” Restaurants Brasserie and the “Bar Du Centre” on the Allees de la Republique are a good place to relax and watch the world go by.

The wine Industry plays a major role in Serignen’s economy, and in 1990 it was given the classification of “Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée” (AOC). A classification of quality recognised by the wine industry the world over. Today’s vines from Serignan produce wines such as Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Grenache, Syrah, Chardonnay, Viognier and Muscat.
