Sete is one of France’s best known fishing ports, well known for it’s vast oyster beds. Having the port at it’s heart, Sete has numerous canals that run through it. It’s this network of waterways that has earnt it the nickname of “The Venice of the Languedoc”.

Being centred so heavily around water, many of the properties in Sete have views over either the canals, the port, or the Basin De Thau. A 20km long inland sea that stretches between Sete and Meze.

Ryanair also operate flights to and from Nimes airport, which can be reached in about an hour.
