Property in St Thibery - A Guide to St Thibery

Property in Saint Thibery

The village of St Thibery lies between Florensac, Montblanc and Pezenas. A very old village, St Thibery has ruins dating back to Roman times. Indeed it’s well known Roman bridge is always a sought after destination for those with a passion for history.

We can more or less divide St Thibery property into two groups. Those properties down in the village, and those properties up the hill on the edge of the village.

The properties in the village itself are a collection of old period properties of all shapes and sizes. Some of these are in need of work and some are in very good condition. The majority of St Thibery property is houses, which make up about 86% of the village.

St Thibery property needing work can be found for under 100,000€ but if you’d prefer something that’s ready to move into, then you should be looking at a budget in excess of 100,000€. At the time of writing, I saw a two bedroom house in good condition, with modern kitchen and bathroom for 117,000€. At the same time I saw a very nice one bedroom house in lovely condition, with terrace for 139,000€. There are of course larger village houses in St Thibery. I saw a really nice three bedroom house with 60sqm garage and 40sqm courtyard garden advertised for 192,000€.

If village houses are not your cup of tea, then simply walk up the hill to the edge of the village and you’ll find a collection of modern built villas and town houses. These offer a very different type of living, with gardens and swimming pools being the norm. Prices of these houses will vary depending upon their size, but think 250,000€ and upwards.

One of St Thibery’s big plus points is its road links. Drive out of the village for less than five minutes and you’ll find yourself at Junction 34 of the A9 motorway. From here you can be in Montpellier in around half an hour, and Perpignan, Carcassonne or Nimes in around an hour. Each of these cities has an airport with flights back to the UK with either Ryanair or British Airways.

If you take the N312 instead of the motorway, you can be at the beaches of Cap D’Agde or La tammarissiere in less than half an hour.
