Full of charm, quirky village house with secret courtyard and “open space” secret stone rooms!

Difficult to explain this charming house, basically it is a cute village house with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a terrace and completely hidden behind it is a huge open plan space in three sections – one courtyard without roof and two vast stone walled spaces that could be summer living rooms, a gallery, a studio, a party space, a yoga room… up to your imagination!

I see it as ideal for one person or a couple who can live there full time in the front part of the house – kitchen / dining on the ground floor, bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and living room / office / spare bedroom leading to the terrace on the second floor. The second part of the house would need a lot of work to insulate enough to live in for the winter so I see it as a space for an artist, for Spring to Autumn living, lots of extra space for guests or for an occasional business or creative activity. Please note the DPE rating is based on the main house only.

Whilst keeping all the quirkiness the house has been renovated between 2013 and now and is in good condition.
The roof of the back space was redone in 2013.
The double glazing on the house was done in 2019, terrace waterproofing was redone in 2020, new guttering and velux in 2021.

Neffies is a very popular village with 2 restaurants and a wine bar plus takeaway pizza and a local produce shop. It is just 5 minutes from the larger village of Roujan with a supermarket, more restaurants and shops and 15 minutes to historic Pézenas.
