Through the large sliding doors and you find yourself in a beautiful private courtyard which offers both sunny and shaded areas to sit and sip cold rosé wine, for which the area is well known for.

Back in the house, wooden stairs with a glass paned banister lead up to an office which overlooks the dining area. There's a Velux providing more light. Two steps from the office is a massive living room of 44m2. Modern and stylish but with a stone wall hinting at the house's heritage. Two large overhead Veluxes with remote controlled blinds allow the sun to shine down and provide a view of the palm trees of Nézignan l'Évêque. An important detail : there’s hidden storage space of over 17m2 in the eaves.

On the far side of the room is the second bedroom space. It's currently open plan with the living room and office area, but easy to section off. There's a wash basin currently installed in the corner and plumbing for a WC behind some pretty tiles. Another Velux provides yet more light into this area.

Clever consideration has been given to the house's details - glass-panelled banisters, glazed doors, multiple Veluxes and huge sliding double glazed doors allow the light to diffuse throughout - the house positively glows.

If you ever want to leave the house, the historic town of Pézenas is a short 4 minute drive. Béziers, the oldest town in France, is a 28 minute drive and the sea is a 25 minute drive.
